Marble

THE CULTURED MARBLE AND REINFORCED FIBERGLASS INDUSTRY

FRP-NC is a non-CFC semi-permanent, polymer release coating ideally suited for molding reinforced plastic and cultured marble parts. It is a unique
release interface, specifically formulated for polyester resins, which chemically bonds to the mold surface forming a micro-thin release film.
Mold Surface Temperature Range: Room temperature (60-105F). Curing Time: 15-20 minutes after final coat. Benefits: Multiple release
•High-gloss parts •Considerable labor savings over wax •No chlorinated solvents •Eliminates cleaning and buffing.
Application: Remove all traces of waxes, sealers, rubbing compounds or other agents, and apply with a clean, lint-free cloth. Wait 1520 seconds
before gently wiping with a second cloth. Changes in temperature will affect solvent dry time. No hard rubbing is required. Apply a maximum of six
coats initially, then a single coat for the first two or three releases, to condition the mold. Use with Frekote
FMS.700-NC Is a non-CFC, semi-permanent, multiple release polymer resin which effectively releases all polymer resins. Versatile agent that provides
slip where mold geometry problems are encountered. It cures at room temperature to give a high-gloss finish to molded parts.
Mold Surface Temperature Range: Up to 275F (135C)
Curing Time: 15-20 minutes after final coat @ room temperature. Benefits: •Superior multiple release performance •High slip and high gloss •No
chlorinated solvents •Versatile: releases most polymers.
Application: Can be applied to mold surfaces up to 275F (135C) by spraying, brushing, or wiping with a clean lint-free cloth. Initially apply two or
three coats, allowing up to 15 minutes after each application for complete solvent evaporation. Molding should not be attempted until the film feels
dry, not tacky, to the touch; approximately 15 minutes.

770-NC is a non-CFC, semi-permanent, multiple release polymer resin which effectively releases epoxies, polyesters, and all other common
thermosetting resins. Dries and cures very rapidly at room temperature to give a high-slip film capable of maximum release performance.
Mold Surface Temperature Range: Room temperature (60F)-140F (60C) Curing Time: 5- 10 minutes after final coat at 80F Benefits: •Fast-dry •Fast
cure •High gloss and high slip •Versatile: releases most polymers •No mold build-up •Reduced odor. Application: Apply to mold surfaces by spraying,
brushing, or wiping with a clean, lint-free, cotton cloth. When spraying, ensure a dryair source or airless spray system. Only a thin, wet film is
required. Apply up to three coats; enhance performance by recoating once after the first few initial pulls. Touch up as necessary.

Cultured marble and reinforced fiberglass molders from around the world rely on superior results from the Frekote® line of products. Frekote offers
benefits that no other mold release system on the market can match. You'll achieve easy multiple releases between applications, as well as
consistent high gloss cosmetics. Frekote products are non-transf erring, which means you can immediately paint or bond your parts after they are
released. And because there's no build-up, cleaning requirements are eliminated saving you labor and material costs while achieving superior results.
If you're still using a wax release agent, consider this: one Frekote customer reduced labor and material costs 90% when they switched to Frekote
from wax, and they obtained a better finish too. Put Frekote to work for you, you'll see the highest release quality with the lowest labor investment of
any mold release system available today.

FMS is a mold sealer for fiberglass reinforced polyester, epoxy, and other resintype molds. Use to seal new molds and older molds with
micro-porosity and slight surface Imperfections. An excellent base coat enhancing the release advantages of all Frekote products. Recommended as
a base coat with other Frekote Cultured Marble and Reinforced Fiberglass Release Agents.
Mold Surface Temperature Range:60-140F Curing Time:15-20 minutes after final coat
Benefits: •No CFC's or chlorinated solvents •Effectively seals green molds •Easy to apply
Application:Apply at room temperature by wiping on with a clean, dry, 100% cotton, lint-free cloth. Wipe on a smooth, wet film: wait 15-20 seconds,
then gently wipe dry. Apply 1-3 coats, allowing 15 minutes between coats. Apply top coats as directed.

Frewax is an all new polymer release agent that combines the benefits of an easy-to-apply wax with the multiple release performance of a polymer
resin. Frewax gives more consistency with less streaking and mold maintenance. Buff on and buff off, just like a wax. Mold Surface Temperature
Range: 60-957
Curing Time: 5-10 minutes before polishing Benefits: •High-gloss finish •Minimum mold build-up •No cleaning •Visible form of Polymer Release
Agent
Application: Shake well before and during use to mix suspended wax. Remove all trace contaminants with Frekote Polyester Mold Cleaner (PMC).
Apply with a clean. lint-free cloth in a well ventilated area. Wipe on Frewax, small sections at a time. Allow to haze (5-10 minutes), then polish coated
mold until a high gloss is obtained. Change cloth frequently; apply a total of 6 coats. After final film is polished, mold is ready for use.

PMC (polyester mold cleaner) is a special blend of solvents that dissolves and removes wax from composite molds without dulling the surface. Also
use to clean epoxy, metal mold surfaces, brushes, and equipment. Highly recommended prior to application of FMS and Frekote mold release
agents.
Mold Surface Temperature Range: Up to 110F Curing Time: N/A
Benefits: •Easy to use -Fast acting •Eliminates contaminants •Enhances multiple release effectiveness •Removes free styrene which reduces release
performance Application: Apply to the mold surface with a clean. cotton cloth. Wear chemical resistant gloves and protective clothing. Wax
immediately dissolves; should be removed from the surface while still dissolved in the PMC. Repeat process until all residue is removed; wipe dry.
