FRP-NC
Is a non-CFC semi-permanent, polymer release coating ideally suited for releasing reinforced fiberglass parts such as boat hulls. It is a unique release interface, specifically formulated for polyester
resins, which chemically bonds to mold surfaces forming a micro-thin release film. Mold Surface Temperature Range:Room temperature (60-1 05'F) Curing Time:15-20 minutes after final coat. Benefits:
•Multiple release •High-gloss parts •Considerable labor savings over wax •No chlorinated solvents •Eliminates cleaning and buffing Application: Remove all traces of waxes, sealers, rubbing compounds
or other agents, and apply with a clean, lint-free cloth. Wait 1520 seconds before lightly wiping with a second cloth. Changes in temperature will affect solvent dry time. No hard rubbing required. Apply
a maximum of six coats initially, then a single coat for the first two or three releases to condition the mold. Use with Frekote FMS. FRP90-NC
is a semi-permanent, polymer release coating for reinforced plastics. Low-odor formula uses same polymer release resin as
FRP-NC and FRP-RS. Chemically bonds to the mold surface forming a micro-thin release film. Mold Surface
Temperature Range: Room temperature (60-105'F). Curing Time: 15-20 minutes after final coat Benefits: -Low odor -High-gloss finish -Saves labor costs/multiple release -Minimal mold build-up -No streaks

FMS. FRP-RS Is a.semi-permanent, polymer release coating for reinforced plastics from unseasoned new molds or freshly repaired molds. Works well on
fast-cycle molds where free styrene can interfere with release and dull released parts. Mold Surface Temperature Range: Room temperature (60-105-F) Curing Time: 15-20 minutes after final coat
Benefits: -High-gloss finish -Low odor -Saves labor costs/multiple release -Minimal mold build-up -Reduces styrene build-up. Application: Wipe a smooth, wet film over a small area of the mold surface
with a clean. lint-free cloth in a well ventilated area. Wait 10- 15 seconds, then lightly wipe off. Coat entire mold surface for a total of six coats initially. Boat Builders around the world, from
volume producers to customized yacht manufacturers, rely on the superior results of the Frekote® prouct line. Frekote offers benefits that no other mold release system on the market can match.
You'll achieve more releases between applications, as well as consistently superior part cosmetics....And because there's no build-up and no cleaning required with
Frekote, you'll save cost in labor and
materials. |

44-NC is a high performance polymer product ideally suited for releasing parts where a matte finish is preferred. Mold SurfaceTemperature Range: 60-140'F Curing
Time: 10- 15 minutes after final coat. Benefits: •Multiple Release •Matte finish •No build-up •No transfer of release agent to part. Application: Apply to the mold surface with a clean, cotton cloth.
Wait 10- 15 minutes between coats. Apply six coats and condition as with
FRP-NC. FMS is a fiberglass mold sealer for fiberglass reinforced polyester, epoxy, and other resin-type molds. Use to seal new molds and older molds with micro-porosity
and slight surface Imperfections. An excellent base coat enhancing the release advantages of all Frekote products. Recommended as a base coat with other Frekote Boat Building Release Agents. Mold Surface
Temperature Range: 60-140F Curing Time: 15-20 minutes after final coat Benefits: •No CFC's or chlorinated solvents •Effectively seals green molds •Easy to apply Application: Apply at room
temperature by wiping on with a clean, dry, 100% cotton. lint-free cloth. Wipe on a smooth. wet film; wait 15-20 seconds, then gently wipe dry. Apply 1-3 coats, allowing 15 minutes between coats. Apply
top coats as directed. Frewax is
an all new polymer release agent that combines the benefits of an easy-to-apply wax with the multiple release performance of a polymer resin. Frewax provides more consistency with less streaking and
mold maintenance. Buff on and buff off, just like a wax. Mold Surface Temperature Range: 60-95F Curing Time: 5-10 minutes before polishing. Benefits: •High-gloss finish •Mininnurn mold build-up •No
cleaning •Visible form of Polymer Release Agent. Application: Shake well before and during use. Remove all trace contaminants with Frekote Polyester Mold Cleaner (PMC). Apply with a clean, lint-free
cloth in a well ventilated area. Wipe on
Frewax, small sections at a time. Allow to haze (5-10 minutes), then polish coated mold until a high gloss is obtained. Change cloth frequently; apply a total of
6 coats. After final film is polished, mold is ready for use. PMC (Polyester Mold Cleaner) is a special blend of solvents that dissolves and removes wax from polyester molds without dulling the surface. Also use to clean epoxy, metal
mold surfaces, brushes, and equipment. Highly recommended prior to application of FMS and Frekote mold release agents. Mold Surface Temperature Range: Up to 110F Curing Time: N/A Benefits: •Easy to use
•Fast acting •Eliminates contaminants •Enhances multiple release effectiveness •Removes free styrene which reduces release performance. Application: Apply to the mold surface with a clean, cotton cloth.
Wear chemical resistant gloves and protective clothing. Wax immediately dissolves: should be removed from the surface while still dissolved in the
PMC. Repeat process until all residue is removed; wipe dry. |
