Vantico’s Araldite 2012 structural epoxy like Araldite
2011 is an ideal metal-bonding material…but sets fast for repairs and
other projects where time is critical. One of our distributors reports that
the product is also great for fast, reliable and flexible bonds on
thermoplastics. They’ve found that Araldite 2012 epoxy outperforms other
fast-setting epoxies and many polyurethanes for really tough applications.
Araldite® 2012 Resilient, Rapid Epoxy
Adhesive
Araldite 2012 is easy-to-handle with a medium viscosity and convenient
packaging (50- and 200-ml cartridges) for fast, clean and waste-free bonding
projects. In addition to forming durable joints on metals, the epoxy
produces tough bonds on plastics, rubbers, glass, ceramic and wood. The
system sets fast with a four-minute gel time; it can be handled after just
20 minutes at room temperature.
